'The Fantasticks' tells the story of two neighbouring fathers who put up a wall between their houses to ensure that their children fall in love, because they know children always do what their parents forbid. After the children do fall in love, they discover their fathers' plot and the young pair fall out of love and each goes off to experience the world. Finally they return to each other and the love they had, having learned from the world to recognise their true feelings.
Now celebrating its 50th anniversary year, The Fantasticks is the longest running musical in the world. It has been seen in over 2000 cities and towns in the USA and has been staged in 67 countries. This brand new production is being directed by the award winning Amon Miyamoto.
